Perspective is Key

If you are like me, you see the photo above and see beautiful little lavender flowers. What you may not know, is that these little flowers are actually weeds. Perspective is key. You will find exactly what you look for in life. If you want to see the beauty- you will. If you want to see the weeds- you will. It is your choice. You get to choose your perspective.

These little guys were all over my grandparents yard… I picked them delicately as a child, cherishing each bud. Imagine my surprise when my mom told me they were a weed. They still bring happy thoughts :). Thanks for sharing and stopping by my blog! Glad I stopped by yours :)

Love sweet little memories like this. It’s so interesting how as innocent children we saw everything as good, beautiful and possible. Guess that is why we are called to have faith like a child (Matthew 18:3) :) Thanks for sharing your story! Be blessed!

Well said. I completely agree. Not everything will go the way we want in life, so having a good perspective is key!

So true! One of my favorite quotes is “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it” by Charles R. Swindoll. We can’t control what happens, but we can control how we react and our perspective. Give it to the Lord and the rest will follow. Be blessed!

Beautiful post and yes these flowers are beautiful. I was biking today enjoying all of the little things and I saw so many different beautiful things on my way, it felt good to be outside enjoying that!
