Assistance Please?

Summer is upon us which means in our spare time we get to lay out by the pool while wearing a big floppy hat with a great book. I have recently taken a hiatus from reading anything other than the Bible because I realized I was allowing other books to take up my quiet time (I’ve recently been going over my Precept Study of 1 Peter- I highly recommend joining a Precept study if you ever get the chance). Now that I feel I am refocused I am ready to find a new inspiring book to begin! As I was thinking about books I have previously enjoyed, I couldn’t help but think of the book “The Heavenly Man.” It is a very easy, quick read. It is an autobiography of Brother Yun, a very dedicated and courageous Chinese man. The book begins before he has a faith and follows his life as he goes in an out of jail- I won’t give it all away, but the stories are captivating. I literally read this in one day. You will find yourself praising the Lord and praying as you turn each page! Grab a hat, some sunscreen, a pair of sunglasses, an inspiring book and go enjoy the sunshine the Lord has blessed us with!

Do you have a good summer read or favorite books? I’m always love suggestions! My goal is to actually come up with a full list to finish before this summer ends. So far my list is very lonely:
