We got our kiddos today!!
Oh my goodness they are precious.
It is crazy finally meeting them after having prayed for the for so long.
Today was a very short day
& most of the instructions were given by my Thai co-teacher.
And the little bit of time I was in charge of the classroom was… interesting
for a lack of better words.
The kids have not spoken english in a couple of months
and they were very shy about speaking it again.
I am excited to continue learning how to teach
and how to command the attention of these precious little third graders.
I hope to have an opportunity to actually take photos soon.
Here are just a few from my attempt to get a few photos from our short day.
Current prayer requests for school:
that the kids get to know more about Jesus
that they see the love of Christ in & through me
that they learn & grow in scholastic knowledge & as a person
that I command attention of the classroom in a loving & respectful way
that relationships be built
that Jesus is the center
