This semester is off to a crazy start already. School is three weeks in and we have already fallen back into our school schedules. For those of you who don’t know me, I thrive under a busy schedule. This year God has blessed me with the opportunity to join the Oklahoma City K-Life leadership where I get to work with middle school and high school students and talk about Jesus. Today is our official Kick-Off party for the year and I am elated to meet all the kids!
As I was reading over today’s verse in our challenge I realized that I had not posted in a couple days- so sorry! But because of our changing schedules, changing weather and (realistically) the fact that our lives change everyday I felt these verses were very applicable. Each day we have the chance to rely on God more, to learn more from Him and to learn more about Him. I pray that the following verses be true in our lives.
71 It was good for me to be afflicted
so that I might learn your decrees.
72 The law from your mouth is more precious to me
than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
73 Your hands made me and formed me;
give me understanding to learn your commands.Psalms 119:71-73
