Date Nights

Caleb and I will only be a true long distance relationship for another week!!! Words cannot convey how excited I am for us to live within a 2.5 hour radius of each other! :) While living so far apart we have learned to cherish our “date nights”… aka Skype dates. Recently, we have begun using our “date” time to go through the book of Colossians. It’s great to hear his perspective and thoughts on everything. And there are so many wonderful things in this book that I seemed to miss before. We are slowly making our way through chapter one. While there were a plethora of things that have stood out to me, one of the things that really caught my attention was verse 6. For some reason, last night, I felt so convicted while hearing him read it again.

“All over the world, this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth.”

Have I been bearing fruit since the day I heard the gospel? Am I bearing fruit daily?
