Day 38

Earlier this week I blogged about being fearless and what we could accomplish if we didn’t allow our fears to get in the way. It is natural for us to fear or worry about what others think of us. We see our peers and automatically compare ourselves against them. Although this comes as second nature, it is something we shouldn’t fear.  Today’s verse talks about something we should fear.  It took me years to understand what it means to “fear the Lord.” It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I realized that “fearing the Lord” meant that we should fear his opinion more than we do our peers opinion. Who do you fear?

“Fulfill your promise to your servant,
so that you may be feared.”
Psalm 119:38
