The holiday season is the best- there is no denying it. But if I am being honest, I am not a huge gift person. While I enjoy nice things, I am more of an “experience” person. I would far rather go make a memory or do something fun with you than receive a gift. However, I do love gifts that give back. So in this season of giving, these are a few of my favorite companies that give back!
- FLYJOY – Not only are these snacks gluten free, vegan and non-GMO, but a part of the proceeds are given back to Hope International. As you’ve probably noticed from my previous posts, I bring FLYJOYbars with me everywhere. They are my go-to snack.
- Krochet Kids – My little brother actually introduced me to this company in 2008 and we have been loyal followers ever since. Three high school buddies created this company and they now employee women in Uganda to create beautifully crocheted items, which can be purchased around the world. If you haven’t heard of this company yet- go check them out!
- S’well – Not only does these cute bottles help lower the number of plastic bottles used around the world, but they also donate to help provide clean water to children around the world. We all need to drink more water, so go buy a S’well bottle!
- 31 Bits– This company also helps employ and empower those in need and is based out of Uganda and Indonesia. One of my favorite necklaces to date is from here and I love knowing that each piece was made with love.
- ONEHOPE – I have not actually tried this wine, but I love wine and I love a good cause! It’s a win-win!
