Good Intentions?

There are so many things we are intentional about each day. We wake up, go to work, go to class, to go the gym, read a book, call a friend, etc. But what about in our faith? Are you intentional?

Are you aware of your actions and what they tell people about yourself?
Are you aware of what your actions tell others about your God?

Are you deliberate, conscious, purposeful… in everything? I know that there is so much room in my life for improvement.

In life we all have good intentions. But do our actions prove that?

Today I want to start being more intentional. I also want to encourage you to be intentional. Even in the little things. If you claim to do something or believe something, live that way.

“Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.” 1Timothy 4:15

“Righteous lips are the delight of kings, And he who speaks right is loved.” Proverbs 16:13

“Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.” Matthew 5:37

“Let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, or you will be condemned.” James 5:12
