Marvelous Things

Recently my husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to do an ‘anniversary shoot’ with Ashley of Ashley Lauren Photography. It was so much fun to see Ashley again, to meet her fiancé, and to celebrate what a blessed year we have had so far. Over the past year the Lord has taught me so much about myself, what it looks like to truly love, and most importantly- about Himself. One of my favorite lessons I have learned about life is that if I want something to be marvelous, I have to make it marvelous. So much of life is about perspective and being thankful for what we have.

Life is beautiful.

Life is marvelous.

Like a marriage and like your relationship with the Lord, life takes work. You get out of it what you put into it. My husband and I have worked hard at our marriage this past year. And it has been the biggest tangible blessing the Lord has given me yet! By keeping Christ in the center of our marriage, our marriage has turned out to be beautiful!

What is something you can make marvelous?
It can be anything!
The sky is the limit!

Something that Christ can make marvelous is just my testimony in general. I didn’t have a super great family growing up. My father left at a very young age and with that left quiet a bit of hurt. The Lord however got a hold of my life and heart and has made something marvelous out of it. He is still working on areas but its just so great to see what he can do with such a stinky situation you know? He is such an amazing father and provider! Thanks for sharing this post!
