Is there a more beautiful example of the Lord’s love for us than the gift of marriage? Two sinners can only live alongside one another by doing our best to love one another the way the Lord loves us.
“We love, because He first loved us.” -1 John 4:19
With the wedding just 9 days away my heart is constantly in a flutter! Majority of Caleb and my relationship has been long distance so we have learned to truly cherish our time together. Needless to say, we are beyond excited to consistently live and serve alongside one another. While the miles between us have not been ideal, the Lord has used the distance to force us to be intentional with our conversations and the time we do have. His hand has been quite apparent throughout the course of our courtship. It is only by faith in the His timing and hope for the future that the Lord has enabled us to open our hearts to this wonderful love which He has prepared for us. For this He has rewarded us far beyond our wildest dreams! Words cannot convey the sheer joy that Caleb’s love gives me. I truly feel the Lord use Caleb as a vessel to tangibly show me His love. What a glorious gift!
Caleb and I cannot wait to see the Lord’s plan unfold in the upcoming months and years!! We are immensely blessed to have so many wonderful family members and friends who have been there to encourage, support and pray for us over the past twenty-something years. We are truly blown away by the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness.
