So sorry to have missed a day, life has been extremely busy! But I hope you still got into your Bible and kept up with our challenge. To make up for our missed day, today we will cover verses 21 & 22. Majority of the verses that we have covered up to this point have been about praising those who keep God’s commands and the blessings that will come to them. Today we focus on the arrogant and those who stray from His commands. I like to think that no one intentionally disobeys the Lord. As humans we are sinful by nature, but that does not mean that it is okay to continue sinning once we come to know the Lord.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
Today God tells us that He will rebuke us if we stray from His ways.
21 “You rebuke the arrogant, who are cursed
and who stray from your commands.
22 Remove from me scorn and contempt,
for I keep your statutes.”
Psalm 119:21-22
