How to Embrace Spring Flowers & Avoid Puffy Eyes from Spring Allergies

\

It’s spring time which means warmer temperatures, pretty blooms and allergies. Don’t get me wrong- I would gladly tolerate allergies year round if it meant we could have fresh flowers and sunshine all the time. But since we only get this beautiful season once a year, I am fully embracing it by covering my apartment with fresh flowers and by leaving our windows open as often as possible. {anyone else doing the same?} And while this cool air does bring a little bit of the spring magic inside, it also brings in allergies and I wake up with puffy eyes.

Since I am not willing to give up the garden of flowers in my apartment, I decided to try finding another solution for the newly found bags under my eyes. I recently started using this VIIcode eye mask and have to admit, it has worked wonders. I love the way the cool gel-like material feels when I first put it on. I’ve been wearing it to bed {yes it is an 8 hour- overnight process} two or three times a week and find myself waking up refreshed. One box lasted me three weeks. Now I can continue saying hello to more spring flowers and goodbye to the bags under my eyes from my spring allergies!

{In the future, I would also like to try wearing these while flying or maybe even after a long flight. I would imagine they could help combat jet lag.}

    Allergies seriously kick my butt, but it’s usually in Jan-Feb here in Texas! I’ll definitely keep these in mind for next year!

    Yes! For me its worst around April-June (I live in Wales). The one thing I just have to do every day, is to have a shower before I go to bed to get rid of all of the pollen that may be in my hair. And I clean my flat more often too. Allergy pills are life savers as well!

    Your photos are lovely. I would love to try the eye pads, however, unfortunately, my allergies affect my breathing as well. I enjoy my flower garden though. I just plant them and watch them grow from my deck and/or window. I will admit I do sometimes bring in a bloom or two but a large bunch I cannot do. Love your article.
