The Best is Yet to Come

As many of you know, my Husband and I will be finishing up the Kanakuk Institute in April. This means that we will be leaving Branson and headed off for new adventures! As of right now we are unsure what those new adventures will hold. We have been praying and continue to pray for the Lord’s guidance and direction. We have a few top desired locations (Dallas, New York City, SoCal {okay, this one is mostly me… what can I say? I miss the beach}, Georgia, or Florida) but are still on the search for full time jobs. We are extremely blessed in that we will be able to continue working for our current employer despite our location change, but we are on the search for a full time career! Right now our prayer is that the Lord will open doors and close the doors to where He does not want us. At this point, closed doors would be disappointing, but a blessing none the less. Just so we could know direction. What a blessing it is to know that ultimately the Lord holds us in His hand and that He already knows our future. We are confident that He has wonderful, grand plans for our future and we cannot wait to see how we will use us in the days years to come. Any job or career suggestions? :) Prayers are always appreciated!

God will get y’all right where you need to be, the interim is just not so fun. One thing I learned while looking for a job after college is to ask. If there’s a company or organization you fall in love with, apply for whatever they have and if they have no jobs open, just ask. Confidence and taking initiative goes a long ways. But I’m sure you will have no trouble finding whatever you’re looking for. :-)

Thanks for the encouragement Katie! We have inquired with quite a few companies- Caleb specifically. I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do haha. I’ve been in real estate the past few years so I’m thinking of maybe sticking with that route- just not as an agent or anything… maybe? Location is still unknown. Depends mostly on Caleb’s job location. We will see!
