The Best Way to Travel from London to Paris :: Eurostar

Over the past five years I’ve traveled by train, bus, plane, motorbike and boat and have visited over 15 countries. After much research and trial-and-error, I’ve finally discovered the best way to travel from London to Paris.

In January we traveled from London to Paris on the Eurostar and it was hands down the easiest travel experience I’ve had yet. On the day of our departure, our plans for the day ended earlier than we expected, so we actually arrived over two hours before our train departed. Initially we thought we would have to just sit and wait for our train. But because we were traveling in the Eurostar Business Premier section, we were able to hop on an earlier train- free of charge! The attendant was more than helpful in assisting us make the change and then directed us to the Business Premier Lounge, where we had the chance to sit, enjoy a couple of drinks and much on some snacks while we waited.

If you are deciding whether or not the upgrade to Business Premier is worth it- I highly, highly recommend it. The benefits before boarding the train are worth it alone! The check in process was so easy, the lounge was so much more relaxing than sitting in the general waiting area, and the ability to change trains with no charge was huge!

Once we were on the train, the benefits continued. Our business premier cabin on the train was nearly empty, the train was completely updated {although I think the entire train was updated and spacious}, we had so much space for both us and our bags, the staff on the train were incredibly nice, and the food was divine. It was so nice to enjoy a proper meal {designed my Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc} and a glass of champagne while traveling to our destination.

Traveling on the Eurostar was completely stress free and we will absolutely be traveling with them again in the future. It was a quick 2 hour trip and is absolutely the best way to travel from London to Paris. The Eurostar also travels to a plethora of other locations and I am already dreaming up train trips with Baby C!
