Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

If you live in New York or are ever in town during the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, this is an event you don’t want to miss. If you show up early, you will be amazed by some of the gorgeous attire worn by both men and women. Everything from seersucker suits, bright colors, all white and bowties on men to white sundresses and gorgeous avant garde dresses on women, everyone was dressed to the nines- especially in the Rosé Garden section (where we hope to be sitting next year!). I’m already dreaming of the dress and hat/flower crown I will wear next year! And next year I’ll be intentional about snapping some of the gorgeous outfits!

I’ve always had a bit of a love affair with champagne. Growing up, my father gave up alcohol completely. But when a doctor literally told him he needed to add some back into his diet to help alleviate stress, he decided to only drink champagne- hence, my love for champagne and anything bubbly! It is the one drink that was consistently in our house and enjoyed on holidays! I’ll never forget my first glass of champagne in Paris with my parents. So when I first came across the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in college, it was immediately added to my bucket list! And even after years of looking forward to the event, I was not let down. The views, the drinks, the food, the people, the game… does it get any better?
