Paris is a beautiful city at any time of year, but there’s something truly special about visiting in the spring. The city is in bloom, with cherry blossoms, magnolias, and tulips decorating parks, gardens, and streets throughout the city. If you’re planning a trip to Paris in the spring, here’s what you need to know about packing and finding the prettiest flowers.
What to Pack for Paris in the Spring
Paris can be chilly in the spring, with temperatures ranging from the mid-40s to the low 60s (Fahrenheit). However, we were in Paris mid-May last year and it was incredibly hot! So you’ll want to pack lots of layered outfits- just in case! I’m always a fan of dresses that pair well with blazers, sweaters or when needed, a trench coat. It’s also a good idea to bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes, as you’ll likely be spending a lot of time on your feet. I love these sneakers and these sneakers, but I quality ballet flat is always a good idea.
As far as clothing goes, Parisian style is known for being chic and classic. You don’t need to go overboard, but it’s always a good idea to dress up a little when you’re out and about in the city. Parisians are very into a neutral color palette, which also makes packing a lot easier. My suitcase is usually filled with black, white, brown, cream, and navy when headed to Paris.
