I believe most people will agree with me when I say brunch is the best meal of the week. I mean, does it get any better than gourmet french toast, goat cheese omlettes and champagne? And few places do brunch like New York City. One of the most common questions I receive is ‘I’m coming to New York, where should I go to brunch?’ and what are the Top Brunch Spots in New York. So today, I’m sharing a handful of my go-to suggestions for the best places to brunch in NYC!
- Bubby’s
- Chantelle Jazz Brunch
- Claudette
- Dudley’s
- Friend of a Farmer
- Jack’s Wife Freda
- Jacob’s Pickles
- Lasso
- Little Park
- Maison Kayser {BYOB}
- Mangia {eat upstairs for a longer sit-down experience or their downstairs is great for quick bite or even grab and go}
- Prune
- Spotted Pig
- The Smith
- Veselka
- Waverly Inn
You really can’t go wrong with brunch in NYC, especially during the spring/summer/fall months when you can sit outside. I’m a big fan of simply walking down the street and keeping my eye out for restaurants with outdoor seating. And if you aren’t able to get in to any of your favorite brunch places, you can always hit one of the many bakeries, delicatessens or bagel shops and create your own bubbly brunch in Central Park. Anyone care to join me?!

Oh how I love brunch! Especially during the warmer months. One of my favorites used to be Garage Restaurant and Cafe but sadly they closed. I really like Libation on the lower east side for a party atmosphere type brunch.
NYC and brunch is like the most amazing combination ever!!! I’ll be visiting in the summer so I’m definitely going to favorite this blog!
I love going for brunch in New York when I visit my cousins. We have a ritual of getting beautifully dressed, picking somewhere fabulous and having a champagne brunch. Then afterwards going for a lovely long walk in Central Park. Occasionally shopping for little treasures is always an option I welcome.
Those photos are drool-worthy! Yum! We live in Boston and love to go to NYC for a quick get away. It’s great to have some recommendations for where to go!
These photos are absolutely gorgeous! I’m a HUGE fan of brunch, and a HUGE NYC enthusiast. Not that I’ve ever been.. but my goal is to get over there sometime in the near(ish) future. Now that I have a brunch guide, I’m even more keen aha.
