Does anyone else ever feel as though you aren’t equipped to achieve your “larger-than-life” dreams? So often I feel as though the world leads us to believe, ‘Oh, it will never happen to me’ or ‘why me?’. Well, I have decided that today is the day we need to stop believing these deceitful lies.
By keeping our eyes on the Lord for direction and empowerment we can achieve anything! He will never lead us to do something without equipping us to do the task. That is why it is so important for us to seek His will in everything that we do. But in order to do His will, we must spend time in His presence- in His Word. This should not be looked at as an onerous task but rather as a delightful privilege. He will always show us the path of life, the path of true joy and the true path of pleasure. Praise the Lord for his ultimate guidance!!
So instead of following the ‘why me?’ statement, why not follow the ‘why not me?’ statement? Why can’t you be the next successful entrepreneur, missionary, leader, etc.? You can be! With prayer, persistence and passion. Everyone has to start somewhere.
“You will show me the path of life, in Your presence is fullness of joy at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalm 16:11
It is very true that everyone has to start somewhere and that first step might seem so overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! It’s just a step, after all :) Leaping out and starting my own business was a HUGE first step, but I am so glad I made it.

My blog started out as nothing more than an outlet for me to tell others the many lessons I have learned and continue learning each day… But slowly I am learning that it has become somewhat of a source of inspiration to others, which has actually been the biggest blessing to me!
