Fall Favorites

It is finally beginning to feel like fall. The cool air has blown in, the leaves are turning beautiful colors, pumpkins are being sold on the side of the road and holiday drinks are starting to make an appearance almost everywhere. This cooler weather also allows us to bring out the clothing we have been eyeing in the back of our closets for what feels like months- hello cute boots and scarves!  I have to admit though, one of the things I am really looking forward to are the new hobbies that will be taking the place of my outdoor activities. Thanks to Pinterest I have a new obsession with DIY projects and ruffles. So after this week of midterms and papers I am hoping to bust out my sewing machine and painting supplies so that I may finally finish decorating my bedroom (and make some things that will work in Caleb and my future home)! Maybe I will even figure out how to use my sewing machines embroidery feature! Right now I’m loving greige, browns, white/ivory and rich rustic chic styles. Anyone have a favorite/fun DIY project or decorating tips?
