Find Dress- Check!

Yesterday was a day full of surprise blessings. Normally during the summer my family enjoys the lake everyday, but needless to say, in this 110 degree weather that is not happening. So instead we have been searching for other things to do. When my father and I were at breakfast yesterday we decided to head up to Norman and begin moving me into me new apartment (I am so blessed to be moving into an apartment with three godly women and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us this year- but that could be a whole other blog post).

After my dad and I carried one of my dressers and my bed up three flights of stairs (talk about a workout) we were ready for some lunch so we headed over to Campus Corner. We both love the iced tea at Café Plaid so that has become our go-to destination. After lunch we hopped into a couple OU apparel shops and bought clothing for the family because Cameron begins his freshman year as a Sooner this month.

As we were walking around we passed a shop called “BeLoved Bridal.” I had seen this shop a few times before and had even looked at their website but had never given it a second thought. Simply out of curiosity we walked in and thank goodness we did! Despite our t-shirt, nike short and chaco attire the ladies were beyond welcoming. My dad ended up finding three dresses he loved and asked me to try on. So I did. I was surprised when I learned the dresses he grabbed were by Melissa Sweet and Rivini. Two of the three dresses I absolutely loved. One was similar to the Amsale dress I had liked earlier in our dress search but I preferred the material of this new dress. By the end of the day my dad and I ordered my dress with a few custom changes. Although dress shopping was just about the LAST thing my dad and I had expected to do at OU that day we had so much fun and it was great father/daughter bonding time. Who would have thought Norman, Oklahoma would have my dress? I can’t wait for it to be revealed!! Thank you Dad for finding the dress! :)
