First Adventure in the City

There are so many things that I love about New York City. One of which, being the street fairs. Who doesn’t love fresh local vegetables, fresh breads, beautiful flowers, one-of-a-kind pieces of clothing, accessories, delicious foods from various countries and so much more. Well on my first day here my mom and I stumbled across a little street fair near her new apartment. Then a day or two later we came across a much larger one with my father. This specific street fair shown below was spread out over 4-5 blocks and my goodness it was fun! I wish that I had taken more photos of some of the vendors. They had some beautiful things! Can’t wait to bring Caleb with me to one of these in November! Anyone know of a good street fair or something like this in the Dallas area? What do you like finding at fairs or special shows like these?

Local fruits, veggies, breads, flowers and more. You can also find little fruit vendors on almost every other street corner.

I’ve lived in the UWS for years, we have at multiple street fairs a month (especially in the summer). You’re going to love the things you find here! My favorites are the locally grown teas and herbs.

I saw the free leaf teas! They smelt divine! We will have to buy some! Thank you for the tip!
