First Few Weeks

It’s October 13 and thus far I have only done 4 posts for the month- so sorry! As I have said before, life has been crazy and I am learning to be much more intentional with my time. Now, it is time for me to add blogging back to my schedule.

But since I have been pretty much MIA the past month I wanted to share a little bit about what I have learned the past few weeks. On September 15 Caleb and I moved to Branson, Missouri (to the Kanakuk Institute) to study the Bible, learn more about our Heavenly Father, have wonderful community with other believers and learn to be leaders. (The plan is to only be in Missouri till mid April). We spent much of this past week doing a Bible overview and on Friday began our Bible overview project. Yes it is homework- but I have to admit… I’m REALLY excited about it! I’ll try to share it when I am done! We have done a lot of ‘cleansing & filling,’ began praying that the Lord would reveal the sin in our life that we didn’t even know was there, we have gotten accountability partners, learned from some WONDERFUL speakers and begun to fall more in love with God.

Matt Chandler once said that “the only way to kill sin is to fall more in love with Christ.” Well this year that is one of my goals. To become so in love with Christ that the sin in my life begins to dwindle. Please be praying for Caleb and I as we begin this journey together has husband and wife, learning and serving alongside one another.
