Who doesn’t like buying a product knowing that it is benefiting others? Today I came across some lovely bracelets made by beautiful Nepal women. Lily and Laura bracelets are handcrafted by women (such as Laura) in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. The company was created so that women may make a fair wage so that they may support their family. Each of these gorgeous bracelets are made either in the women’s homes or outdoors when the weather permits. Each bracelet is unique from the last and made with love.
I bought mine at the Dallas Market Center and I know of a couple of stores sell bracelets that look like them but aren’t made by these Nepal women… I’m looking for places that sell these specific bracelets… In Norman, OK Antique Garden sold some, but I am uncertain of wether or not they supported these women. Who knows, maybe I will start selling them. Does anyone else love them as much as I do?
Great concept.
Isn’t it neat? I love companies like this!
Chloe’, those bracelets are gorgeous & so meaningful. I hope they sell them in Ca.. good Job Chloe in finding them & giving the history of the bracelets. Love, Grandma
Grandma,
These bracelets are only sold in a handful of places but the women who work for the company have tried getting me to sell them, so I can always get some for you :) Love you!
