So apparently the last couple days I have really enjoyed blogging. I may have set a personal record for number of new posts in 48 hours. In my defense it has been a very eventful past few days- parents & in-laws met, Got to visit my fiancé for the first time in about a month and CAMERON RETURNED HOME FROM UGANDA A COUPLE HOURS AGO!!! He is home safe and sound. Thank you Jesus :) He has been sleeping upstairs for a couple of hours already. Although he is home, his luggage (including two digital cameras) is currently lost somewhere in Uganda, Kenya or London. Luckily he did get some great photos and videos on his iPhone. I took these images and made a video! Enjoy!
Oh, and although I titled this “Lions, Tigers & Bears,” there are no bears. But there are elephants, hippos, water buffalo and more!
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID37zNMInPs]My prayer is that the Lord used these boys and girls to make an impact on these orphans that will last forever.
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever — the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” -John 14:16-20
We really enjoyed Cameron’s pictures & video. It is hard to believe that the elephants, hippo’s & other animals were so close to their vehicle. The pictures of Cameron with the young children was really neat. We also are glad that Cam & his team got back safely & hope he gets back his luggage in tact.
It was a wonderful experience for the Liberty team to share the word of God with these young people at the orphanage.
Our Best Wishes & God’s Richest Blessings to the Liberty Team & their leader’s
Grandma & Grandpa Thomas.
We are very proud of them and the work they did for the Lord :) If his luggage doesn’t return I am sure it will bless someone who needs it. The one little boy that Cameron is holding in three photos is named Kato. How precious is he?
