What is your purpose? We are called here to live as servants for the Lord. While reading todays verse I came to a few conclusions (these are strictly my thoughts, what are your thoughts on todays verse?). I felt that he is asking the Lord to have mercy on him so that he may live, even though he is a sinner. And because the Lord has offered him mercy, this man yearns to obey His Word.
Do good to your servant, and I will live;
I will obey your word.
Psalm 119:17
We are all sinners who have received mercy, does this cause you to want to live for the Lord?
