Looking Back, Looking Forward

While I was a student at University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) one of the things that I looked most forward to every week was my girls Bible study. What started as a smaller group (8-10 girls per week) grew to a much larger group of God fearing women (15-20 girls per week) over the course of a year and a half. Regardless of the size, these girls all became like family. And our leader was one of the most God fearing women who has a serious gift for speaking. We started calling her our “Oklahoma Mom” since so many of us were from out of state. We were each others family-away-from-family, friends, accountability partners and more. We did trips to Branson and other retreats throughout the year to “get away from the world” and refocus on Him. It was wonderful.

This Bible study is one of the things that I have missed the most since graduating. Knowing how much I loved this Bible study makes me even more excited to begin the Kanakuk Institute with Caleb. I am so excited for a year of fellowship, growth and focus on the Lord. I cannot wait to learn more about how the Lord can and will use Caleb and I together to further His Kingdom!
