Mrs Roosevelt

everyday bbb

A lot of you may have noticed a reoccurring theme on the blog recently. There has been a lot of looking towards the future, a lot of planning, a lot of uncertainty, and even more relying on our Father. Life right now is pretty exciting. Sometime this week my Husband and I find out if we got the apartment we applied for in New York  City (saying lots of prayers and keeping our fingers crossed). In the mean time we are still job hunting and praying for the Lord’s direction and praying that He will open the right doors and close the wrong ones. I’m taking this time to work on my kids book, to figure out what my long term dreams are, to work, to organize our new home, and to spend some good time with Jesus. I have huge dreams for the future, but those dreams are currently very vague. I can’t wait to for the Lord to give me a more clear vision of His plans so I can begin doing what Eleanor Roosevelt encourages- “Do one thing every day that scares you.”

What are you working towards right now? What is something that scares you?
Let’s begin this journey together! I’ll encourage you & you can encourage me!
With God’s hand, prayer, & persistence we can make our dreams a reality!

I would love to hear what you did that scares you! :) Feel free to share by comment, email, or in person over a cup of coffee!

Scarred of failure. But I guess that’s not something I can do daily, is it? So as far as daily fears… probably standing up for myself. I need to do that more…

Cling to Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

You can do anything you set your heart to with prayer and persistence. And once you learn who you are in Christ, you will easily stand up for yourself. Praying for you!

Have confidence in myself. I have big dreams, but fear that they will never come true because so many people have big dreams.

I like to think ‘Why not me?’ So many people have the mentality of believing ‘Why would it happen to me?’ The better question is ‘Why can’t it happen to you?’ With prayer & persistence you will be amazed what can be achieved :) Doubt finds a way to sneak in, but our Heavenly Father wants to bless us!

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:11

Enjoy this time Chloe. Confusion is just the doorway to understanding.
