My Favorite Pregnancy Safe Skincare Items

Did you know “average American woman applies 168 chemicals to her body every single day” according to author Erica Cohen? YIKES!!! Even when not pregnant I don’t want to be putting that many chemicals on my body. But now that I’m pregnant I’m even more cognizant of what I put on and into my body. So over the past couple months I’ve started really focusing on what I use on my skin. I’ve tried dozens of products and officially decided the items below are some of the best pregnancy safe skincare items.

I also quickly learned my skin changes daily while pregnant. Some days I’m oily, some days I’m super dry. So I like to keep all of these items on hand and choose which item would work best for my skin that specific day. • Mamonde Petal Spa Oil to Foam Cleanser :: I love the subtle scent of rose in this cleanser. It foams just enough and leaves my skin feeling clean.
• Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleansing :: I’ve been using this cleanser for years and love it. It’s so light and leaves my skin feeling so soft!
• Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub Exfoliator :: I recently started using this exfoliator and really like it! And it’s under $10. I’m even using it on my belly to help prevent stretch marks.
• Mamonde Red Energy Recovery Serum :: This is currently my go-to anti-aging serum. It’s super hydrating and helps keep your skin firm.
• LANEIGE Water Bank Hydro Gel :: I’m currently loving this moisturizer. It’s super light and has a slight cooling effect, which is perfect as we head into summer! It’s perfect for combination or oily skin too. It gives a slight dew-y look!
• Caudalie Vinosource SOS Intense Hydration Moisturizer :: This has been one of my go-to moisturizers for months. I’m on my third container of it.
• Caudalie Instant Detox Mask :: Pregnancy makes me breakout like a teenager. This mask helps keep acne minimal and leaves my pores clean and tight.
• Burts Bees Belly Butter :: I used this when pregnant with Cayson & I didn’t get any stretch marks. Here’s to hoping I don’t this time either!
