As an avid traveler and NYC resident living in a small apartment, I don’t have a ton of extra space for “stuff.” Almost everything I own serves a purpose or is sentimental in some way, shape or form. And while I love receiving gifts, I’m a much bigger fan of giving or receiving memories. As the holidays are now upon us, I’m sure you’ve had trouble finding the perfect gift for at least one person on your list and I’m here to help come up with some alternative ideas you may have not yet thought of! In my opinion, these are a few perfect gifts for travelers or loved ones!
- Custom Coasters. Create coasters with pictures from their travels or your memories together! You can literally go save photos from their social media accounts and order the coasters in minutes!
- Custom Magnets. We received custom magnets from our friends in England last year and I love seeing them each time I go to my fridge! They remind me of all the travels we have had together and remind me of so many cherished memories! Social Print Studio also sent me 10 new magnets of Caleb and my travels and I LOVE the quality. I will absolutely be ordering more of these for gifts in the future! And a set of 10 2×2” magnets is only $14!
- Metal Images. Social Print Studio also sent me two 4×4 metal prints. I love how stunning our photos look when printed on the metal. And the metal prints come with strong tooth style hangers on the back so they were extremely easy to hang. Social Print Studio has a plethora of size options you can choose from for metal prints, so if I were to order more prints I would probably order a larger size, but the 4×4 is great for filling in space in a photo gallery or for smaller walls.
- Give an Experience. You can literally give the gift of an experience on Tinggly. If you know where someone is traveling, you can see what kind of experiences are offered in that location. They have everything from Gondola rides in Venice and Crescent making classes in Paris to Indoor sky diving and Zip lining in Costa Rica.
- Photobooks. I’ve given and created countless photobooks. I would love to create an annual ‘year book’ to recap each year of Caleb & my marriage, but it just hasn’t happened yet. But I have created them to commemorate favorite trips, to celebrate anniversaries {I created one for my parents 30th wedding anniversary} and to look back on favorite moments {weddings, engagements, parties, etc}.
- Portable Charger. I bring my portable charger with me everywhere! I use it almost every week {even when not traveling} for my phone and cameras.
- SD Card to iPhone converter. I use this converter to move over select photos from my SD card to my phone while traveling so I can quickly edit and post specific photos/videos without having to go home and upload all of my photos to my computer.
- Artistic City Maps. A pretty map can quickly transport you to another city- whether it be a favorite travel destination, a home town or a city with sentimental memories.
