How to Refresh After a Day of Traveling

If you follow me on social media, you likely know that I have been traveling like crazy the past few weeks. Once Cayson got his two month shots and permission to travel, we hit the ground running! We’ve taken more flights, train rides, boat rides and car rides than I could have ever imagined taking with a 3 month old. It has been exhausting, but so so worth it.

Last week, we flew from NYC to Southern California for a quick trip and do to a delayed first flight, we ended up missing our connecting flight and found ourselves stuck in Phoenix for a night. {it was a serious bummer!} If you’ve ever taken a road trip, a long flight or a red-eye flight, you likely know just how gross you can feel at the end of your travel day… so I’m sure you can guess how dirty we felt after a surprise overnight-layover with none of our bags. By the time we got to SoCal, we all felt like the need to shower. But when you only have a few precious days of vacation, you don’t want to waste a moment and want to jump straight into exploring! {Can I get an amen?}

So how do I refresh after a day of traveling without the shower?  I do three things- I wash my face, brush my teeth and put on some deodorant. When traveling it might not be 100% realistic for you to wash your face and brush your teeth on-the-go, but you can absolutely reapply deodorant thanks to Secret Freshies!
