I think it is a pretty safe bet to say there are some things in life everyone enjoys. Who doesn’t enjoy receiving a compliment or a genuinely nice person? Sometimes, a compliment or joyful smile can turn your whole day around.
Is there a specific person that comes to mind when you think of a joyful person? Or a specific act of kindness that you enjoy the most?
I want to encourage you to bless those around you with little acts of kindness. Each morning before your day starts, look at your schedule and pick a couple places where you can spur others on with love. It could be co-workers, clients, at the airport, post office, dentist or whom ever you wish.
Let the Lord’s light shine through you.
Have a blessed day!
“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others too.” –Philippians 2:3-4
“Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” -1 Peter 3:8-9
“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” -Colossians 2:2-3
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness.” -Colossians 2:6-7
“Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then… I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel, without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved–and that by God.” –Philippians 1:27-28ish
