Today let’s try something a little different. I want to encourage you to go line by line and pray for each of these things. Short, simple, sweet and easy.
77 Let your compassion come to me that I may live,
for your law is my delight.
{pray for God’s compassion to fill you so that you may live according to his law and find delight in them}
78 May the arrogant be put to shame for wronging me without cause;
but I will meditate on your precepts.
{pray for this, strength and a yearning for His word to be put in your heart}
79 May those who fear you turn to me,
those who understand your statutes.
{Pray that God will fill you with Himself and His love so that others who fear and follow Him will turn to you and find fellowship with you}
80 May my heart be blameless toward your decrees,
that I may not be put to shame.
{Pray for this to be true so when you stand before Him you will be blameless and state that you fought the good fight}
