Can you believe Christmas is only 5 days away?! Where has the time gone?! It feels as though Thanksgiving was just last week and yet, the next holiday is already upon us. As we get closer to Christmas, it seems as though everyone around me is even busier than normal. Last minute gifts are being purchased, friends are heading out to see family and there is a holiday party every couple of nights.
Sometimes, we need the reminder to slow down in the midst of this busy season. And this past weekend, I did just that. I put on my go-to lounging top {only $24 for my follower is you buy in through this link}, made myself a cup of hot cocoa {with way too many marshmallows, of course} and cuddled up with my husband to watch cheesy Christmas movies. It was perfect. We went for long walks and had no destination in mind. It was the perfect reminder to refocus on the meaning of the season.
How do you like to refocus or slow down during this busy season?

That looks like a super comfy outfit. I needed that reminder to slow down. It is such a busy time right now.
Love this reminder. And that top looks like the perfect lounging top! What size did you get?
Thank you so much for the reminder that we may need to slow down. The year is almost over and it’s only going to get busier with 2017. A little down time isn’t such a bad thing. BTW that top looks so cute and comfy! Perfect for the winter days staying in at home!

You’re so right! The holidays are so crazy we definitely need to slow down!
Such a great post, Chloe! The holidays are so crazy, it’s so important to take a second to slow down and enjoy the season.
Also, I have these dishes too! They were on our wedding registry. Love them!
