Over the last decade I’ve begun to really take my skincare routine seriously. And in the past few weeks, I’ve actually felt like my skin looks better than it has in months {maybe years- and I haven’t had botox in over half a year, so this is all thanks to good skincare}. When winter began, I shared my winter skincare essentials. But as the season changes, so does my skincare routine. So here are the items I will be using this spring!
*I have purchased all of these items multiple times & even my mom now uses these products!
Cleanser :: This is my favorite cleanser. It’s light and leaves your skin feeling clean. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight like many other cleansers.
Exfoliant :: I use this buffing cream all year round. In the spring and summer I use it about twice a week. I like to keep it near the shower so I can use it on my neck and décolleté as well.
Elixir :: This elixir is a travel must have for me, but I also love to spray it on my face both before I start my skincare routine and after my makeup is completed. I love how it wakes my skin up first thing in the morning and adore the dewy finish it leaves! I use it year round, but in the spring and summer it’s the perfect afternoon refresher.
Eye Cream :: I still ADORE this eye cream and the built in applicator. The amount of joy this little applicator gives me is actually comical. The metal tip helps smooth the eye cream in without wasting any and the coolness of the metal feels AMAZING around your eyes. I didn’t realize how much eye cream I was wasting until I used this. It’s pricy, but lasts forever!
Gel Moisturizer :: This moisturizer has aloe vera in it and feels slightly cool upon application. When I wake up feelings slightly puffy, this is my go-to moisturizer. I also love adding it to my skin after a long day in the sun. It’s a must for my spring and summer skincare routine.
Rich Cream :: I’ve said it before, but this cream reminds me of cashmere. It feels so luxurious as I message it into my skin.
Serum :: I add this serum when my skin is asking for more hydration. I love how it leaves my skin feeling replenished after a day in the sun or after a nights rest.
Overnight oil :: I use this oil in the evening when my skin is really asking for more hydration. Sometimes I do it without a cream on top, but I often add it AND a cream for extra hydration. I do not use it every night, but if I get too much sun it’s a must for me.
Hydrating mask :: I use this hydrating mask year round, but I really love it when traveling and when my skin needs an extra hydrating punch.
Extra
Detox Mask :: Again, I use this year round. This mask leaves your skin feeling lighter.
Radiance Serum :: For the most part, I have a pretty even complexion. But I got this radiance serum as part of a set I purchased so I decided to try it. WOW. I had no idea how much it would even out my skin.
Moisturizer :: This moisturizing cream is also super thick, but doesn’t feel heavy. My skin instantly feels hydrated when I put it on.

You sure know how to care for your skin. I don’t have much of a skin care routine though. I should take inspiration from you. I don’t want to look older than I actually am!
This is a great list. The winter has not been kind to my skin, and I need to give it some love.
It sounds like you use a large range of products in your skincare routine. The eye cream sounds like a lovely luxurious product. I need a new one as mine has run out and I could do with another asap.
I love a detox mask! That one immediately went on my to buy list!
I have always had a very simple skin care routine and never thought about altering it a little as the seasons change. This gave me some food for thought.
I need to make some updates to my skincare. It is good to have some tips to help make some changes.
Aaaahhh….this is good to know from you, Chloe. I would like to use a detox mask, one time.
Me too! Elixir is a must-have for me. It helps me stay fresh. I haven’t really tried using an overnight oil but will check this out as I feel my skin needs more hydration.
