We Want Your Help

I strongly believe in the power of prayer. And this week, we want your help. On Monday my dad goes in for open heart surgery. The good news is, his first surgery showed he has no blockage and the procedure should be fairly straight forward. It turns out he has a leaky valve and the doctors are going to fix it. As we gear up for Monday, I would be honored if you would come alongside us in prayer!

A few things we are praying for:

  • The doctors :: Praying for wisdom, steady hands, knowledge, experience and so much more. We are so thankful my parents met the main doctor performing the surgery and he actually prayed over them and the upcoming surgery!
  • My dad :: For peace, comfort, a positive outlook, a speedy recovery & joy in knowing how much better and healthier he will be after.
  • Family :: Peace, encouragement & wisdom on how to best support my dad during his recovery.
  • God’s Hand :: Prayer for God’s hand to cover every second of the surgery and the recovery process.
  • The unknown :: This is our first experience in this kind of surgery, so prayer for the unknown and the things we should be praying for, but don’t even know to think about or pray about.
  • Thankfulness :: Praising Jesus for modern medicine & the fact that my dad’s doctors even realized his need for the valve to be fixed!

Thank you for coming alongside us and lifting my dad up in prayer!! We truly appreciate your help!
