Ireland quickly captivated my heart! Between the charming locals, delicious brews & incredible scenery- Ireland really does have something for everyone! And it is such an easy country to travel around {small size, English language, nice people, etc.}. If you are thinking about making the trip, I highly recommend it!
Here are my tips on what to do in Ireland!
Itinerary
- If possible, I would recommend spending at LEAST a week in Ireland. There are so many gorgeous cities worth visiting and we struggled to visit all the cities we wanted to see. The cities atop my favorites list in Ireland are Dublin, Galways, Killarney, Kinsale. I also would love to visit Dingle, Cork and Cohb.
- Our itinerary:
Airport/Train Stations
- Dublin Airport DUB
Hotel
- HomeAway
- Airbnb
- I shared my hotel recommendations under each city guide
Restaurants
- I shared my recommendations under each city guide
Transportation
- Rent a car! We rented a BMW x5 which was great for us, but anything larger would have been TERRIFYING to drive on the tiny streets
Recommendations
- Check the weather. We went in November and the Cliffs of Moher were pretty much completely covered by clouds… Not ideal
- Leave room in your suitcase to buy extra sweaters and wool products- trust me!
Did I miss anything?
What would you add to the list?
