What to do in Salt Lake City, Utah

39

Growing up, my family had an annual trip to Salt Lake City and now I struggle to ski anywhere else. I love returning to the same slopes because I know them like the back of my hand. While I have skied a few ski resorts in Salt Lake City, my favorite is Brighton. I know it isn’t the “trendy” answer, but it really is my favorite. Not only is Brighton one of the cheaper options, but the lines are decently short, they are kid friendly, allow snowboarders and a couple Disney Movies were filmed here {Johnny Tsunami & Cloud Nine}.

Itinerary:

  • Personally, I like to plan week long ski trips, but you could do shorter. Technically, you don’t really need an itinerary for this trip.

Airport:

  • Salt Lake International Airport

Hotel:

  • HomeAway or Hilton {I will always choose to rent a home or cabin on holiday!}

Restaurants:

  • Molly Greens at Brighton used to be good, but it has gone downhill. Their hot cocoa is still great though!
  • Milly Chalet {on Brighton property}

Transportation:

  • Rent a car

My top recommendations:

  • Ski or snowboard
  • Ski or snowboard
  • Ski or snowboard
