What would you add to the list or what would you like to know more about?
We just did our babymoon to Savannah in February and LOVED it. One of the topics we frequently kept re-visiting was “will we REALLY be able to travel once we have a baby?” So, thanks for including photos of your little one! Good call on Collins Quarter, it was one of our favorites! It’s cool that you got to see the festivities of St Patrick’s Day, everyone keeps telling us to come back for it!
A lovely quick guide to Savannah. I’ve only ever read about the city in books, and it comes across as very rustic. Loved the photos. When and if I do make it there, I guess it’s the Southern food that I would like to try first. I’ve taken note of the places you have recommended, and 1540 and Cotton & Rye both look pretty cool.
One of my bucket list destinations and I can’t wait to visit after seeing your photos. The Hop on Hop off Trolley Tour sounds fun. One of my favourite things is to visit local markets so I would need to plan in a visit to there as well.
I would love to visit Savannah! You took gorgeous photos. I would love to talk around with my husband and baby and enjoy the architecture and gardens like you did. It sounds like such an amazing little city!
I’ve been to Savannah a few times and I loved it! It is a beautiful city and it is a foodie’s dream. I also liked visiting Hilton Head nearby for a beach day!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Savannah but clearly it’s time to go back. I really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the parks. My kids loved the pirate and ghost tours last time we went but your little one is a bit young for those. Great inspiration for my next visit!
I love that you explored Savannah without an itinerary! Travelers hardly do that anyone. I think it’s magical to let fate guide you along and help you stumble across beautiful, untouched places. Looks like you had a lovely time with your little family and made some beautiful memories together!
Nice short guide to Savannah. Sometimes I like to travel without an itinerary and just stumble upon beautiful sites. I’ve never been in Georgia, so you made me really curious about Savannah. They seem to have really beautiful parks.
I’ve been there once – long time ago – and I know I must go back. Your suggestion to not have an itinerary and just let yourself wandering around the city is really great. Stop at every places that you think you want to know more. I think I will do the same when I go back. Thanks also for the list of restaurants. That will be helpful.
