When we began this challenge I encouraged you to write our verse of the day on a post-it note and hang it up somewhere you will see if frequently. Todays verse is the reason for this. God has told us in the past 10 straight verses how important it is to live according to His Word. Today God tells us that in order to better keep His word, we should hide it in our hearts. Memorize it.
“I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.”
Psalm 119:11
If you do not want to memorize Psalm 119, that is fine. You can choose other verses that inspire you. When I am struggling with a specific sin I search for a Bible verse that talks about that sin. My goal is to meditate on that verse any time I find myself in that sin.
