A Daily Dose

Each morning I read a chapter of Proverbs. It is such a wonderful way to begin your day- I highly recommend doing it! I began adding a Proverb to my morning reading 3 years ago and have been blessed by it ever since. So since today is the 9th, here are a couple of great verses from chapter 9. These verses remind me of Isaiah 55:8-9.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
    neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
    so are my ways higher than your ways
    and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Because His ways are so much higher than our ways we should constantly be meditating on the Word and speaking with our Heavenly Father. By being obedient He will bless us with wisdom, guidance, and an abundance of an unfathomable love. Today be faithful in the little things.
