Fight for You

Yesterday I confessed to you how exhausted I am. Exhausted not in the sense that I just want to sleep. Exhausted in the sense that I have a lot on my plate and am a bit overwhelmed. So after a long day I came home and turned to the Word. I’d like to say that I come home every day and open up the Word, but that’s not true. But yesterday the Lord laid it on my heart that I needed to spend time reading His love letter. And He shared with me exactly what I needed. I’m currently reading through 1 Corinthians and the bookmark I am using right now is one given to me as a gift from one of my middle school girls. It is a beautiful hand written bookmark with Exodus 14:14 on it. This verse alone spoke wonders to my soul yesterday. Yes my days are busy. Yes I have a lot to do in the next few months. But Yahweh stands by my side. He will fight my battles… I just need to be still and let Him. We need to be still and let Him.

It is sooo true, just resting brings about such peace amid the chaos. And did you know that the number 14 is for deliverance and salvation? Isn’t that just awesome. http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/14.html
