I Want Your Heart to Sing

It’s November!! Okay, yes… I am 6 days late, I am aware. But better late than never, right? As we all know this month is a month of thanks. Could we have a better theme for a month? I think not! Well my goal for this months posts is to include something I am thankful for each day. 25 days of thanks!

At the Institute we learned from a speaker that Jack Miller made the statement

“I am asking you to read 7 chapters

of the Bible a day,

I am not trying to be legalistic,

 I just want your heart to sing.”

 This month I want all of our hearts to sing! 7 chapters can take a decent chunk of time, but I promise it will be oh-so-worth-it! It will make your heart sing and it will make your heart so very thankful!

Day 1- Jesus. I am so thankful for Christ’s sacrifice! The ultimate gift.

Day 2- The Bible. What a blessing it is to have God’s truth to direct our every step.

Day 3- My husband. My best friend. The Lord so uses him to tangibly show me His love. I could go on & on bragging on him, so I will just leave it at that for now :)

Day 4- My parents. I am so blessed to have been raised by such encouraging, loving parents!

Day 5- My brother. He inspires me daily. His desire for the Lord, purity and passion and incredible!

Day 6- The Institute. What an incredible way to start our first year of marriage! Learning God’s word.
