June 6, 2013 at 9:15 amI spent many of my early adult years away from The Lord. I was just divorced, for the second time, and REALLY lost. I joined a bowling league with my mom. In this league I met a young woman who had never been married and had no children. I was hesitant but very interested. After this gal and I started dating, she asked me about church. I told her I was raised in a small country church, baptized and then fell away from God. She asked me to go with her the next Sunday and she’d even pick me up and take me (I think to make sure I showed). Well, she was now attending that very same country church. Many of the same people still attended. Pretty quickly I realized the God had introduced me to this woman to bring me back home to Him. God certainly works in strange ways sometimes, but He is always good…
