Good afternoon! Okay, I know I don’t normally do two posts in one day… But I’m just too excited not to share this lovely girl with you! Meet Ashley.

Last July Ashley wrote a post about her trip to Uganda which was so heart warming that I could not help but share it with you. This girl is the epitome of a godly woman. If you live in the Dallas area- she is a girl you have to meet. And hiring her to be your photographer is the perfect excuse to spend an afternoon with her! ;) Not only does she have a beautiful heart, but she is an incredibly gifted photographer! While attending Texas A&M she started Ashley Lauren Photography. Now her company has moved with her from College Station to Dallas. While I could write a plethora of sweet things about her, I will let you see a little bit of her personality through tidbits she wrote on her ‘About Me’ sections on both her photography website and photography blog- then you will see I’m not exaggerating about how great she is!

I love giggling around a home cooked family meal, meeting new people, hearing stories, all kinds of shoes, antique shopping, any combination of coral and grey, Africa, singing on long car rides, soaking in new scripture, and capturing moments through photographs.
My hopes for the new blog are to post more than just my most recent session but to share things that feel important as I walk through the beautiful life God has given.

One of my favorite quotes and what I believe “all of life comes down to just one thing, that is to know Jesus and to make his name known”. Family is the second most important thing in my life. I have the greatest parents in the world and as for my sisters, I consider myself pretty lucky. Family and Friends bring me so much Joy and Support. Joy and Grace are two of my favorite words. When not shooting on a weekend, some sort of community service event often occupies my time. Organization. Anthropologie. Cardigans. Running. Music. Doodles. Painting. Sports .Gray. Coral. Navy. Planning Events. Jcrew. Gap. Pintrest. Reading….those quickly sum up the rest!
