Praise the Lord we still have internet! Ha Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It truly blesses my heart knowing that so many of you thought about us when you saw the news about Thailand.
I wanted to let you all know that we are completely safe. It turns out our city is actually thrilled about the coup! So while we do still have a nationwide curfew and there are more military men around town than normal, it is completely safe. We even got to spend our day off yesterday exploring nearby waterfalls. It was stunning! The Lord truly is the ultimate artist.
We spent a few hours hiking with friends, exploring the jungle, avoiding the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life, splashing around in pools of water below each waterfall, and enjoying great meals. {Caleb and I were each bitten by our first leech- yuck} But overall this coup has been treating us well. Today we are off to a beach with some of our new friends from England and tomorrow we are off to another beach with our new Thai friends! {We are helping our Thai friends learn english while they help teach us Thai}.
