Annapolis quickly became one of my favorite cities! We spent a weekend in the city and I am already dreaming of our return!
Itinerary:
- Day 1: We left NYC really early and caught the train. We spent our first day on a private yacht cruising the Chesapeake Harbour. It was perfect. That evening we strolled around Downtown Annapolis and had a lovely dinner.
- Day 2: We spent the second day exploring downtown. I loved the history, architecture and colors of the city. We left late that evening and returned to NYC.
Airport:
- Baltimore/ Washington International
Hotel:
Restaurants:
- Red Red Wine Bar
- Middleton Tavern {founded in 1750. they have some great beer flight options, which was really fun! the food was just decent, but the location is perfect}
- Iron Rooster {we didn’t get to eat here, the line was too long. but the food looked delicious, the view was gorgeous and everyone seemed to leave quite happy}
- The Crab Claw {get there by boat- a MUST do}
Transportation:
- Taxi
- Walk
- Rent a car {you won’t need a car if you just plan on staying downtown}
My top recommendations:
- Charter a boat, go to the Crab Claw Restaurant, then go walk around that little area
- Walk around historic downtown Annapolis
- Eat & shop
