About Me

Hi, my name is Chloé Arnold and I believe the little moments in life should be celebrated- from adventures in your home to explorations around the world… no moment is too small.

Beyond Blessed started in 2010 as a personal journal, where I documented my travels, favorite recipes and day-to-day life. It has seen Caleb & me get married, quit our jobs, move to Thailand, move to New York City, become parents and so much more. Our life is chaotic, messy, and wonderful.

At Beyond Blessed, we choose to look for the blessings in each day because in reality, we are all beyond blessed!

A bit about me:

I was born in Newport Beach, California, raised outside of Dallas, Texas and now call NYC home. I am a city girl through-and-through, but have a deep love for the ocean. I am a self-professed francophile who loves going on adventures, scented candles, breakfast/brunch, champagne, celebrating everyday moments, Ladurée rose macarons, fresh flowers, a good cheese board, counting my daily blessings and stamps in my passport!  In my dream situation, I would spend 6 months of the year living in NYC and 6 months of the year based in Paris & traveling around Europe.

I believe every day should have at least a little spontaneity and champagne- because each day deserves a little sparkle!

A bit about Caleb:

He was born and raised in a small town in the northwest corner of Georgia {about 20 minutes south of Chattanooga, Tennessee}. He loves adventures, family, learning about other cultures, sports, gathering with friends, hosting big events/holidays, the smell of a wood burning fire, the life in a vibrant city, craft beer, a good view of the mountains!

A bit about us:

We met working at a kamp {yes, with a “k”} in Branson, Missouri. Caleb bought an engagement ring 1 month after we started dating, proposed on our 6 month dating anniversary in Mexico, we were married a year later at a log cabin resort, spent our first year of marriage at the Kanakuk Institute, lived in Texas for a year, moved to Thailand for a year, and now call New York City home. We had our first bébé in March 2018!!

.Five facts you may not know about me:

1. ) My first word as a child was “happy”
2.) I enjoy a pot of hot tea every afternoon {my current favorites are this herbal tea or this green tea. I loved this pregnancy tea}
3.) I’m on 4 episodes of HGTV’s Flea Market Flip
4.) I keep a bottle of champagne or sparkling wine in my fridge at all times
5.) My last corporate office was in the Empire State Building {and my grandmother, whom I never got to meet, worked there too}

    My mom lived on Richard St. in Dallas before she died. Moved there from Colorado after I left home. Loved it.
