Bringing Paris to Your Home

Paris is hands down, one of my favorite cities in the world. When I was 10 my parents took me to Paris for the first time and ever since I have been completely smitten. I believe everyone should visit the city of love/lights at least once in their life! So this past Christmas, we decided to celebrate our next Christmas and New Years in Paris!

In an attempt to prepare for the trip {and check a goal off my bucket list}, Caleb came up with the fabulous idea to buy French Rosetta Stone. I took French in high school and college but alas, I still struggle to say more than hello.  Hopefully Rosetta Stone will do the trick. {Any other suggestions or tips?}

Sometimes, to get into the French mood we pour ourselves some bubbly, set up a cheese board, make fresh crepes and pretend we are already in France.  I also really enjoy serving FLYJOY bars with my cheese board. We cut them up into slices and munch on them with all of our other goodies while we prepare the crepes. It’s like bringing Paris to your home! We love it! {sometimes I’ll even turn on french café music to pretend we are actually in a little french café- cheesy, I know!}

Personally, I love either super savory crepes {think chicken, asparagus, cheese, and so much other goodness} or sweet crepes like strawberries with whipped cream or banana with Nutella.

What kind of crepes do you like?

    First, this looks delicious. Second, PLEASE share your crepe recipe!! I’ve tried a few but they are either too sweet or lumpy…. Also love that you added a snack bar to the mix. I hadn’t thought about that before!
