Is there a city in the world more romantic than Paris? I’ve now visited Paris in every season and can confidently say it is magical any time of year. Whether you love eating, walking, shopping or museums, Paris really does have something for everyone. So how do you decide where to stay?
We recently stayed at the Hotel Saint Paul and fell in love with the location. While I adore exploring the Right Bank of Paris, I’ve learned I prefer the restaurants on the Left Bank. Regardless of where Caleb and I stay in Paris, we almost always end up eating in the Left Bank, especially near the Latin Quarter and Saint Germain area. And luckily, the Hotel Saint Paul is located right between the two!
The Hotel Saint Paul is a four star, fourth-generation-owned, family-run, boutique hotel. {I come from a family of entrepreneurs in the vacation rental industry, so I love supporting family owned companies!} The hotel is located on a charming, quiet street and perfectly blends French elegance and English comfort. The details in the hotel are rich and inviting, which I loved. They actually renovated the hotel in 2015 and kept the original exposed beams from the 1600’s! {The inner nerd in me wishes those beams could talk- oh the stories they would tell!}
In true Parisian style, our room was on the smaller side, but was laid out perfectly. I loved the colorful fabric on the walls and was again, obsessed with the original beams on the ceiling. Our room had two windows, which each opened up to a beautiful view of our charming Parisian street. Each morning I opened our windows and enjoyed the view with my first cup of coffee.
And it isn’t a true Parisian morning until you’ve enjoyed a fresh croissant {or two… or three} for breakfast! We started each day by having breakfast in the hotel’s cave/basement. Each morning I enjoyed an espresso, a glass of fresh grapefruit, yogurt, fruit and of course- a few croissants {to be fair, they were mini so I felt no guilt having both a pain au chocolat and a traditional croissant!}.
The Hotel Saint Paul was a wonderful home base for our stay in Paris!

What a cute hotel, I love how they maintained the original features of the building!
Hotel Saint Paul is gorgeous! I love the decor here, especially all the red. I’ll bookmark this for the next time I go back to Paris!
The photos of this hotel are amazing. I would love to stay there. And the breakfast spread with croissants, yes! I would definitely stay here!
Beautiful
I’m a sucker for heritage hotels and this hotel looks fantastic! Totally my kinda place to get pampered.
I too love family owned places. Its has a personal touch to it that corporate chains don’t!
The wallpapers, staircase, food, everything is awesome.
I have been to Paris during three seasons and like you said, I loved it there during all three seasons. The Hotel Saint Paul looks like a charming and elegant hotel and I wish the beams would have talked too. I definitely had 3 croissants when I was in Paris too.
Wow! What an amazing stay! The hotel looks super luxurious with cozy room, perfect views and yummy food. Love the hues of red especially the wallpaper and the staircase. The croissants look delicious. Hotel Saint Paul is definitely a place I would love to stay at. Thanks for sharing beautiful pictures of the hotel.
This seems like an amazing hotel! I also like supporting family run businesses. Plus that wallpaper is amazing and the location is great. You are lucky to have been to Paris all seasons. I have only been in spring and summer.
Those views are just amazing! I will absolutely try to stay here when I visit Paris again!
This hotel looks so fabulous! I love the wallpaper in your room and all the views!
You took me back to Paris. I completely agree when you say, it isn’t a morning in Paris until you have croissants. The hotel saint paul looks vibrant and traveler friendly. I love the ‘all in red’ seating arrangement. The balcony pictures look amazing. I am sure you had a great time because Paris is beautiful in all seasons.
