I’m determined to make 2020 an incredible year! As the year began, I reflected on 2019, set goals for 2020 and now here we are, in February of 2020. And I’m proud to say- so far, I’m doing pretty well! And I really believe my weekly goals play a huge role in this.
When I set my goals each year, I sit down and determine the steps I need to take to actually achieve these goals. And part of that, is to figure out what I need to do each week. And since there is only so much you can focus on each week, I’m try to find five goals to prioritize each week. So today I’m sharing 5 of my goals for this week.
- Add my favorite pictures from the week into our 2020 family book :: I’m determined to make a family ‘year book’ and since it’s too hard to go through thousands of photos at the end of the year, I’m choosing my favorite pictures each week and uploading them now. So at the end of the year all I have to do is click print!
- Wake up earlier :: This week I want to wake up at least 30 minutes earlier than normal.
- Go to bed earlier :: I want to get in bed by 10:30 PM- at least Sunday through Thursday.
- Kids classes :: Cayson and I just started going to music class and swim class again. So we have at least 2 classes a week together, but I would love to add a library class into the mix.
- Eat healthy :: It’s time I start adding more vegetables into my diet and start being intentional about taking care of my body.
I need a lot of sleep, so going to bed early is easy for me. I do need to get up a bit earlier than my family, though. I’d get so much done if I started to do that!
Weekly goals are so awesome! It’s through weekly goals that help you accomplish yearly goals!!

I love that you set these goals for yourself. It’s wonderful! I feel like 99% of the time, my goals are blog-related, but it’s time for me to start making more “fun” goals too! You’ve inspired me!
